Senior Care Market is Growing

The In-Home Senior Care Franchises industry is benefiting from a growing number of aging baby boomers. In the five years to 2015, the number of adults older than 65 is expected to grow to 47.8 million people. As people live longer due to the assistance of advancements in medicine and technology, a growing number of seniors are looking to age in their homes and maintain independence for as long as possible. Franchise establishments that provide medical and nonmedical in-home services allow seniors to do just that. The high cost of nursing homes and assisted living accommodations, coupled with the escalating healthcare costs associated with hospital stays, has also continued to drive growth in demand for industry services.

A Great Investment Opportunity with Give-back to the Community

The in-home senior care franchises provide an endless opportunity to franchisees to support families by taking care of their most praised possession: their parents.  Being a senior is not the end of the line but the most fruitful part of life for a person.

$10 Billion Industry with over 12% Expected Growth

In-Home Senior Care is Largely Dependent on Quality Caregivers

Home care refers to medical/non-medical treatment or assistive care for patients who do not require hospitalization or facility care, but do need additional support to live safely at home. Home care can involve medical treatment by medical professionals, but the largest segment of home care involves assisting individuals with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, or even companionship. Such help is carried out by caregivers, or other licensed or unlicensed non-medical personnel. Most of those receiving home care in the U.S. are over 65 years old, with approximately 96 percent requiring assistance with bathing and 88 percent requiring assistance transferring in and out of bed.
