Before starting your search,  know how much money you want to invest and what is the amount you feel comfortable investing. In addition to the total investment amount almost all franchisors usually have conditions on the net-worth of their candidates. Make sure to preselect franchisors that keeps you within your financial comfort zone and that you satisfy their networth requirements.

Talk to Other Franchisees

Current franchisees of a franchisor are valuable source of information. Ask franchisor to introduce you the most successful owners as well as those who are strugling. Find those who had been in a similar situation as you are. Call and talk to them on the phone. Arrange with  3 of them  to meet them at their place.

Take Your Time

Some franchisors might use aggressive sales techniques such as scarcity method to get you sign the deal. Do not feel obligated or pressured to make any premature commitment. Take your time and let them know that you need to finish all your investigations before making any decision.
